Our Services

 

Here at La Taquiza we are dedicated to providing the best service in San Diego. Here are some things you should know about our on-site catering to help your event run smoothly:

  • We provide 3 hours of service - 1 hour to set up and cook, and 2 hours to serve. In our experience, 2 hours is more than enough time to feed all your guests but if you would like to add more hours we can certainly do so for an additional cost.
  • We will need at least a 10' x 12' space in an outdoor area in which we will set up our equipment. If you have space restrictions or absolutely need us to be indoors please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
  • All of the left over food will be yours to keep when the event is over.
  • We understand that some of your guest will RSVP last minute - please let us know 3-4 days in advance if the number of guests increases and we will be happy to fulfill your request.
  • Unfortunately, our liability insurance prohibits us from:
    1) cooking or serving any food that we did not bring ourselves                 2) letting you cook on our equipment

FAQs

Q: How much space do we need

A: Ideally a 10' x 15' space. If that is not possible, enough space to fit two-6' tables, a grill and a flat top grill. 


Q: What do we need from the host

A: Simply an empty space and access to one electric plug for lighting, (we bring our extension chords).


Q: Is there a limit of guests

A: No. We have a minimum of 40 ppl, but no maximum.


Q: Can we cook items provided by host

A: No. Our insurance does not allow us to cook anything that we did not bring.
